Features and detailed description of rip-stop fabric
Today I would like to talk about a mysterious substance with unusual properties. It came into being about 70 years ago and is called 'Ripstop'. I will tell you all his secrets. I will describe the features and characteristics in detail, with pictures and customer reviews. I will tell you where it is used. I hope that after reading my article you will know exactly whether it is suitable for you or not.
Ripstop is not a type of fabric, but the name for a separate group of particularly durable materials that are manufactured using an exclusive technology. The name 'Ripstop' is made up of two English words: 'ripstop' and 'ripstop'. The name 'Ripstop' is made up of two English words. 'Rip' - rip' means 'to tear, cut up' and 'stop' means 'to stop, stop'. Accordingly, the main properties of the fabric are increased durability and tear resistance. Even if the fabric is torn or punctured, it will not 'creep' and the threads will not unravel.
Appearance of the tissue.
- Reinforced synthetic threads are woven into the fabric at a distance of 5-8 mm. Most manufacturers use nylon or polyamide. These have a larger diameter and are arranged parallel and vertically, creating a characteristic checkerboard pattern;
- Para-aramid fibers are woven into the fabric to increase fire resistance;
- Kevlar yarns are used to increase strength, impact and puncture resistance;
- If it is desired that the fabrics do not become statically charged, manufacturers add antistatic additives;
- For greater comfort, a base fabric made of 30-60% natural fibers - cotton, wool, linen or silk - is used;
- Thanks to special impregnations, they increase resistance to acids, water, industrial oils or dirt. A layer of silicone or Teflon protects against heat or fire.
Classification of tissue
- Lightweight Oxford, waterproof and windproof, a popular choice for workwear
- Tent (tarpaulin, PVC fabric) – used for sewing car covers, shop awnings and tents
- Tvil – soft and light, gains strength due to reinforcing additives. It is used for uniforms and overalls;
- 'Taffeta' is made from nylon or polyester. It has a shiny surface;
- camouflage is intended for sewing military suits and touring kits.
Important to know! According to GOST, the density of rip-stop fabrics varies in a wide range from 60 to 280 g/m 2 . The thinnest fabrics are used as a wear-resistant lining. The denser fabrics are used for tourist and military clothing as well as workwear. That means wherever durability and modesty are required.
A little history
In the mid-1970s, the Japanese company Toyota installed a special device in the Crownie that switches off the engine after one and a half seconds when it switches to idle. According to test results in Tokyo, this system achieved a fuel saving of 10 percent.
The first production vehicle with a stop-start system was the Volkswagen Polo Formula E in 1983. A special timer switched off the engine after two seconds of idling, and the engine was restarted by tilting the gear lever to the left. Later developments of this system found practical use in German cars.
In 1993, Volkswagen offered customers a special version of the third-generation Golf with an automatic start-stop system (SNA for short). It switches off the 64 hp 1.9-liter turbodiesel engine if it stops at traffic lights for more than five seconds. As soon as first or reverse gear is engaged, the engine starts again immediately. The servo-assisted clutch automatically disengages even when reversing, thus reducing rolling resistance. The power steering has been supplemented with an electric pump, which allows normal steering when the engine is not running. However, this Ecomatic system turned out to be too complicated and expensive and was inferior to the new generation diesel engines in terms of efficiency.
Twenty years ago, such systems seemed exotic not only to consumers but also to many car manufacturers. However, a little later it was recognized that turning off the engine leads to real fuel savings and a reduction in carbon dioxide emissions, which is important in most European countries.
Therefore, in 2006, the French company Citro¸n began to equip its C2 and C3 models with a start-stop system that uses a special technology - an integrated starter-generator (ISG), which combines the functions of both systems takes over.
Such different systems
How the start-stop system works varies from vehicle to vehicle, although the principle is the same for the driver: simply stop to turn off the engine and press the clutch pedal (manual) or brake pedal (automatic) to start it quickly start.
The first option involves a reinforced starter and a special battery that can withstand a large number of starts (up to 150,000 cycles). The control program is stored in the engine control unit and works according to the data received from the sensors for engine speed, brake or clutch pedal position, battery status, etc.
The second variant uses a special device - a starting alternator with a separate control unit. The rotor is designed in such a way that it not only rotates via the crankshaft drive, but also drives the engine in start mode. This technically sophisticated device is quiet and allows the engine to start faster than a conventional starter motor. The system can also be supplemented with a special capacitor that stores energy by recovering it when the accelerator pedal is released.
Mazda has introduced a third system, the SISS (Smart Idle Stop System). It does not require any special components or assemblies as the engine ECU stops the crankshaft in a position that makes starting easier. When the driver releases the brake pedal, fuel and spark are injected into the cylinder in a step cycle and the engine starts quickly.
A conventional lead-acid battery cannot survive dozens (if not hundreds) of starts per day. For this reason, more advanced batteries with AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) technology are usually used in vehicles with stop-start systems. They have low self-discharge (only 15-20 % over a year of inactivity), do not require maintenance, are not afraid of deep discharges, and can quickly release and absorb a large amount of energy. Due to the design features of the AGM battery, it is not damaged by frequent discharge/charge cycles and lasts approximately four times longer than a conventional battery. However, the cost of the reinforced battery is significantly higher, so its use in conventional vehicles is not economically justified.
Indications for the use of STOP-COCCID®
STOP-COCCID® is administered to the animals orally and individually using a dosing syringe. In the event of sedimentation, the suspension container should be shaken thoroughly before use.
The dosages and administration schedules are shown in the table below.

piglet | from 3 days | 20 | 0.4 (at least 0.5 and not more than 2 ml/animal) | once |
Puppies | From 14 days of age | 10 | 0.2 | Once daily for 3 consecutive days |
On farms at risk of coccidiosis, the drug should be administered to susceptible animals before the first clinical signs of the disease appear in the herd in order to maximize the preventive effect and reduce the number of oocysts excreted into the outside world.
When the medication was first used and discontinued, no special effects were noted.
Failure to adhere to the recommended interval for re-administration of the drug in young dogs may reduce the effectiveness of the drug. If another dose of the medicine is missed, it should be given as soon as possible.
Contraindications to the use of STOP-COCCID®.
STOP-COCCID® should not be used at the same time as other anti-tick products. There is no information about the incompatibility of the drug with drugs of other groups and feed additives.
The slaughter of calves, lambs and goats for meat is permitted no earlier than 70 days and of piglets no earlier than 91 days after the application of Stop-koktsid. Meat from animals slaughtered before this date can be used as feed for fur-bearing animals.
When working with Stop-koktsid, the general rules of personal hygiene and the precautionary measures provided for when working with medicines must be observed.
Do not smoke, drink or eat while working. Wash your hands with soap and warm water after work.

They have a wide spectrum of anthelmintic activity: antiprotozoal, antibacterial and antiprotozoal activity.
They contribute to the destruction and elimination of parasites at all stages of development and prevent them from multiplying further.
They have an anti-inflammatory effect and promote the regeneration of the mucous membranes of the digestive tract.
Used as an antiparasitic, antibacterial, antifungal, immunomodulatory and general tonic. Due to its high content of quinones, essential oils and bitter glycosides, it has a damaging effect on sexually mature and intermediate stages of helminths (ascarids, pinworms, etc.), protozoa (giardia, trichomonads, toxoplasmas, etc.) as well as on the causative agent of candidiasis. Black Walnut suppresses more than 50 different types of worm infestations, without contraindications or side effects.
It is intended for the comprehensive treatment of parasitic (helminthic) infestations. The bark and leaves contain phenol glycosides, saligenin derivatives (salicin, populin, tremuloidin, tremulacin, salicortin), which have anthelmintic effect (especially against opistorchosis). The antipyretic effect of aspen bark extract has been extensively studied at the Siberian State Medical University. The aspen extract contains tannins, organic acids, bitter substances, essential oils and the enzyme salicin, which provide the choleretic, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, antispasmodic and antiulcer effects of the drug.
It has a strong anti-worm bite, anti-inflammatory, choleretic, antispasmodic and antibacterial effect. Thansa (thujone) essential oil paralyzes the muscles of roundworms (ascarids, pinworms, etc.), contributing to their complete elimination from the body.
Prevention against swollen feet
If your health is good but your feet still swell, you need to change your lifestyle. The first thing you should do is limit salty and spicy foods that bind fluid. Be careful about how much water you drink - the average person should consume no more than 2.5 liters per day.
Take regular short breaks and stretch tired legs when sitting or standing. Try not to wear high heels all day and pay attention to your sitting position: you should not sit upside down and the edges of the chair should not press on your thighs.
If all of these measures to reduce swelling do not help, you should not postpone a visit to the doctor. Even if you do not have a health problem, a qualified specialist can help you find a remedy for your unpleasant symptoms and your life will become more comfortable.
pharmacokinetics
Sodium chondroitin sulfate is readily absorbed after injection. Within 30 minutes of the injection, it can already be detected in significant concentrations in the blood. CMax of chondroitin sulfate in plasma is reached after 1 hour and then gradually decreases over 2 days.
Chondroitin sulfate sodium accumulates mainly in the cartilage that makes up the joints. The synovial membrane does not represent an obstacle to the penetration of the drug into the joint cavity. 15 minutes after the I / m injection, chondroitin sodium sulfate is in the synovial fluid and then penetrates into the articular cartilage, where its CMax reached after 48 hours.
overdose
Overdose has not yet been described and is unlikely.
To achieve a stable clinical effect, at least 25 injections of the drug are required. This effect lasts for several months after treatment. To avoid exacerbations, repeated treatments are carried out.
If allergic reactions or bleeding occur, treatment should be discontinued.
Pediatric Application. There are currently no data on the effectiveness and safety of DRASTOP in children.
Effects on driving ability and mechanisms. DRASTOP has no effect on the ability to drive or perform potentially dangerous activities that require increased attention.

Cause of itchy feet
In order to eliminate the complaints, the cause of the complaints must be determined. Since it is almost impossible for someone who is not a medical professional to solve the problem on their own, a doctor should be consulted. Only he or she is able to determine the real cause among the many causes that can cause itching in the foot area. Here are the most common ones:
- skin diseases;
- thermal or chemical burns;
- allergic reactions to materials that come into contact with the feet;
- muscle and bone abnormalities in the feet;
- Diabetes;
- Vascular diseases.
In addition to the above factors, various situations unrelated to the disease can also cause itching. The most common cause is walking for long periods of time, usually in uncomfortable shoes. Systematic stress, overload of the nervous system or a lack of B vitamins can also cause itching and burning in the feet. If a tumor develops in the body, it usually reacts specifically to it. One such symptom may be itching on the soles of the feet.
Diagnosis of itchy feet
A doctor should be consulted at the first worrying symptom. He or she will prescribe a series of tests to determine the true cause of the itching and burning feet. The most common diagnostic methods include:
diagnostic procedure | Time |
---|---|
General urine examination | 5 minutes |
blood glucose test | 30 minutes |
Ultrasound examination of the lower limbs | 30 minutes |
X-ray examination of the feet | 10 mins |
In some cases, electromyography may be necessary. This allows the degree of muscle damage to be assessed. The reliability of this method is 70-90 %. The price for this examination in Moscow is 800-2200 rubles.
During the initial examination, the examination, the anamnesis and the recording of symptoms play an important role. Only after a comprehensive diagnosis can effective treatment be prescribed.
